Recently, Xinmian successfully launched an AGV intelligent warehousing and back-end packaging line packing and palletizing solution tailored for a leading pharmaceutical enterprise, revolutionizing traditional production modes with full process automation and injecting strong impetus into the intelligent transformation of global pharmaceutical giants.

01 Pain point driver upgrade, traditional mode waiting for breakthrough

As a leader in the global pharmaceutical industry, customers' workshops bear the important mission of exporting finished products. However, the traditional production mode of warehousing and packaging has gradually exposed pain points that cannot be ignored: low transportation efficiency, high labor costs, hidden compliance risks, and limited workspace. To this end, we have set our core goal of creating a fully automated system for the entire process of "automatic transportation of finished products+supply of empty pallets+return of non-conforming products", replacing the turnover mode of goods loading and handling vehicles, synchronously upgrading the back-end packing and palletizing functions, and achieving unmanned production, automatic coding, and compliance traceability.

 

02 Customized solution, unlocking the integrated intelligent mode of "packaging+warehousing"

In response to the core demands of customers, Xinmian integrates hardware integration and intelligent control systems to build a customized solution for the entire chain of "packaging conveying storage traceability", accurately solving production pain points:

Hardware integration collaboration, building a solid foundation for unmanned operations

· Intelligent transfer matrix: equipped with 6 AGVs, 27 sets of box type conveyor lines, pallet conveyor systems, and 2 professional elevators, to build a comprehensive material flow network, realizing the full process unmanned operation of automatic transportation of finished pallets, precise supply of empty pallets, and efficient return of non-conforming products; AGV is equipped with industrial grade batteries, online charging devices, automatic charging systems, and laser protection devices to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted safe operation.

· Vertical Conveyor Matching: Two elevators achieve vertical transportation of materials from different floors and areas, breaking space limitations and making logistics flow smoother.

· Packing and palletizing core: Three industrial robots are stationed at the rear packaging line to efficiently complete the task of palletizing intermediate packaging boxes and pallets. Equipped with three cargo type detection devices, real-time control of packaging accuracy and consistency is achieved, and the operational efficiency far exceeds that of manual labor.

· Intelligent storage configuration: Build exclusive shelves with 40 pallet storage spaces to maximize storage capacity and optimize space utilization efficiency within limited workshop space.

Software system empowerment, compliance traceability without blind spots

· Intelligent scheduling core: equipped with AMS-AGV management system and NDC8 control platform, combined with laser positioning and real-time communication technology, it achieves precise scheduling, path optimization, and real-time monitoring of 6 AGV robots, supports remote operation and management of manual terminals, and makes unmanned operations more controllable.

· Seamless data integration: Develop a dedicated communication interface with the existing WMS system to break down data barriers in warehousing, transportation, and packaging processes, achieve real-time information flow, and avoid data silos.

· Compliance traceability core: Our self-developed industrial control system covers eight modules including user management, production operations, parameter settings, and audit tracking. The entire process automatically records key data such as material transportation, packaging, and storage. The flow trajectory and operation records of each batch of products can be accurately traced, perfectly meeting GMP compliance and audit tracking requirements, and completely reducing the risk of manual recording errors.

Modular installation and debugging, zero impact transformation landing

Adopting a modular design concept and tailored to the characteristics of online renovation projects, we aim to minimize interference with existing production facilities during equipment installation and debugging, achieving "non-stop renovation and zero impact on implementation", ensuring rapid project results, and not delaying the normal production capacity output of the enterprise.
