There are two major pain points in the loading of packaging materials and auxiliary materials in the pharmaceutical packaging process! Localized workspace+high-frequency manual work

  Release time: 2025-12-12   |   Views: 54

一、Space constraints: front and rear pincers become 'production obstruction points'

Most pharmaceutical companies have narrow space in front and behind the paper box workstation, with a manual working surface of about 1.8-2.5m (the back of the production line is only about 0.8-1.2m), which directly causes three major chain problems:

● Difficulty in organizing incoming materials in bulk: Most cardboard boxes and manuals are transported in loose packages, and narrow spaces cannot accommodate pre storage areas. They can only be stacked next to equipment, which can easily cause deformation of packaging materials due to compression;

● Delayed waste recycling: The plastic film, damaged cardboard boxes and other waste generated from unpacking cannot be cleared in real time due to limited space; The outer packaging materials equivalent to the number of effective packaging materials should be promptly sorted and removed as garbage, leaving temporary storage space on site for new packaging materials; Otherwise, there is a risk of packaging material supply interruption due to the delayed arrival of new packaging materials;

● Loading interruption: Insufficient space leads to a shortage of cardboard boxes or delayed supply of instructions, resulting in equipment shutdown and directly affecting production capacity;

二、Human overload: High frequency operations drag down production efficiency

The manpower consumption in the paper box loading process far exceeded expectations, and only the paper box and instruction manual loading require dedicated personnel to be on duty. The specific pain points are concentrated in three points:

● High strength of cardboard box feeding: The equipment needs to replenish paper boxes (approximately 280-350 sheets) every 30-40 seconds, and the operator needs to continuously unpack and stack them, which can easily lead to physical and mental fatigue. Additionally, manual handling and stacking of paper boxes may cause them to fall or have incorrect directions, resulting in prolonged downtime;

● The instruction manual feeding should be inserted during the paper box feeding process and completed in a timely manner: Usually, one stack needs to be replenished every 2-3 minutes, and manual disassembly and orientation/corner inspection are required for each stack of instructions

● High labor costs: At least one full-time operator is required for a single paper box loading station (excluding the intermediate packaging and packing stations). If the production line operates in two shifts, 2-3 people need to rotate;

A stable pharmaceutical packaging line cannot be supported without stable packaging materials, excipients, and supply systems. When space constraints cause packaging material supply interruptions and frequent manual errors, it not only results in loss of production efficiency, but also poses a potential threat to drug quality and compliance. If you are anxious about these issues, there is no need to worry about 'how to make ends meet', but instead focus on 'how to solve' - our paper box feeding equipment is designed specifically for pharmaceutical companies' pain points, covering your needs in all aspects from space adaptation to automation and reducing manpower, helping to solve the packaging feeding dilemma!
